Our Story

Plenus Wellness started the way many great things do— a longing desire to make a difference, to be more.

Hello, my name is Juliana Borges and I am the creator and founder of Plenus Wellness Center & Spa.

A wellness center that was founded on the basis of finding my purpose, my passion, my “more”— and sharing it with the world.

15 years ago I found myself in a place where many women do; living my life feeling alone, confused, de-spirited, and in a repetitive cycle of unfulfilling days. I lost a sense of identity, a loss of who I am— A point where I can honestly say that I did not recognize the reflection staring back at me in the mirror.

I was unhappy and disappointed with my body, my marriage, my work, my dedication (or lack there of) as a mother, my progress, myself.

I quite literally had to stop.

I had to stop doing meaningless tasks, committing to only making my wallet happy, and start saying yes TO ME. It had been a long time since I say yes to myself and I was tired of it; tired of saying wait, later, and no to myself. So, I did.

At first, like many— I thought that my better-self could be found in perfecting my exterior. And that is exactly where I started: I opened an aesthetics oriented spa. It wasn’t long before I realized that aesthietics was not and is not everything. So, what started as an exterior adjustment became a layered phase of inner discovery. I had to start over, dive deep into the deepest part of my core and existence, my faith. After dedicated time of prayer, investing in Tony Robbins motivational events, and endless nights of combing through the experiences that molded me, God spoke to me:

You cannot grow in abundance if you only focus on the exterior version of yourself.

You must dig deep. You will break. It will not be easy.

But if you allow yourself to heal in the proper way and you grow others with you on this journey,

it will be all worth while. It will be the movement that fills and satisfies your soul and your community’s.

So, with my heart and efforts on my sleeve— I present to you Plenus Wellness Center & Spa.
